Now in their third year, the Service Provider Rankings offer hedge fund managers and investors into hedge funds the opportunity to vote for their favourite service providers.
In previous years the rankings have attracted a high calibre of respondents, for example, in 2012 over 30% of respondents were in C-level positions.
The results have also provided an insight into which providers are offering exceptional service to the industry and, for some categories, where those providers rank on certain aspects of the service they provide. This year's rankings will offer the same unique view on this segment of the hedge funds industry.
The results of the survey will not only show who is the preferred service provider in a number of categories, but should also give service providers an insight into where clients would like to see improvements and what aspects of their offering are valued.
In 2012, some of the results were split to identify the top provider selected by US and European voters, revealing different preferences on either side of the Atlantic. This gives an even better understanding of manager and investor preferences.
The rankings cover a wide range of service providers essential to the hedge fund industry including prime brokers, fund administrators, legal services, accounting and auditing as well as technology, research and others.
Eligible to vote are individuals from single manager hedge fund or fund of hedge funds (FoHF) organisations and investors (for example, family offices, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, asset allocators) who invest into hedge funds or FoHFs.
Completing the survey takes less than 10 minutes. All responses are confidential unless you specify that you are happy to be contacted by editorial staff. Personal information will not be published or released to any third party.
