Hedge Funds Review Americas Awards 2012
The Hedge Funds Review Americas Awards recognise the best hedge funds and funds of hedge funds in the US, Canada and Latin America.
The hedge fund investment process relies on more than just numbers and our judging process recognises this. Hedge Funds Review has partnered with BarclayHedge to identify the best performing funds in the Americas.
BarclayHedge will provide initial quantitative screening of funds in each category.
An expert judging panel will review the risk and return characteristics of the top funds and agree a shortlist and winner in each of the categories. The judging panel, chaired by Hedge Funds Review editor Margie Lindsay, is impartial and unbiased and will reward genuine performance and quality.
To qualify for the quantitative performance categories, funds must report three years of net returns and have assets under management of over $100 million.
Hedge funds and funds of hedge funds are invited to enter the qualitative categories which will recognise achievements in product development, innovation, client service and excellence in the industry by both groups and individuals. We also invite industry participants to vote for their choices in the qualitative categories.
Funds launched on or after March 1, 2011 and on or before March 31, 2012 are eligible for the best new hedge fund category. There is no minimum AUM requirement for this category.
Winners of the Hedge Funds Review Americas Awards 2012 will be recognised at a cocktail reception on July 11 in New York.
